Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 是一個穩定、且易於管理的訊息作業平台，為企業提供全年永不停頓的電郵系統服務。 Exchange Server 2010 是特別為 Windows 2008 Server 所設計，與 Windows 2008 的目錄服務 (Active Directory) 和系統管理功能完全整合，無論使用及管理上都非常容易，達到最佳的穩定性、延展性及效能，是幫助企業發揮網絡資源潛能的最佳平台。

Exchange Server 2010 的管理可經由 Windows 2008 中令人熟悉的 Microsoft Management Console (MMC) 管理介面整合運用，日常的管理工作變得更為輕鬆，加上 Exchange Server 2010 直接整合 Windows Server 2008 的目錄服務與管理功能，以確保訊息及作業系統的安全性，包括 ACL 的使用，以設定所有 Exchange 資源的使用權限等。
