Photoshop ACE 認證的考試內容主要分爲三部分：
第一部份主要測試考生對 Photoshop 軟件的基礎知識，例如，有關的常規資訊、工作頁面、置入和校正圖像、文件輸入和輸出的格式以及印前文件的製作完成等。

而第二部份，會針對考生的有關的軟件工具應用、圖層應用技巧以及路徑繪圖方法，例如：不同繪畫工具的特性，各種繪畫工具，動作調板，有關的區圖層的特性、功能，以及正確使用層和層的相關選項的。

最後的第三部份就會測試考生之圖像色彩的校正及色彩的校正設定，考生需於考試前熟識在 Macintosh 或 Windows 平台上的色彩校正的定義步驟，還需要掌握色彩管理和色彩設定等術語。如：嵌入 ICC 預置文件，不同色空間之間轉換的匹配問題，以及 RGB、CMYK、灰階色彩的設定等。

而考題共有兩種形式，包括鍵入指令式題目及多項式選擇題，而全份試題共有 75 條題目，考生可以在任何一間 Prometric 認可考試中心報考！考試費為港幣 $1020。
